Bodywork final fit, finish and paint

Final finish for the bodywork is a mix of two pack paint and vinyl wrap.  Because the fibreglass panels required a lot of work to achieve a satisfactory fit and blemish free surface, they were painted in two pack first and then allowed to thoroughly dry for two months before the carbon fibre vinyl wrap was applied.  The aluminium panels were a lot straighter and had the “Gloss Intense Blue” vinyl wrap applied direct with no prior painting.

I hadn’t used vinyl wrap before and after hearing some good reports and seeing some excellent applications I thought it would be more durable that paint and offer something a bit different, especially the carbon fibre finish.
